Job Title: Forensic Consultant Salary: £40,000pa Location: London Responsible for all aspects of eDiscovery data collection and forensic projects, the successful applicant will work within the Forensic Services as a Forensic Consultant, offering guidance to lawyers and case managers on eDiscovery and forensic topics. Additionally, you will also be at hand to help the sales team secure further work by marketing your group’s capabilities. Keeping current with all relevant technology, you will offer up to date advice and be a team player with the ability to collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient delivery of client services. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies in various sectors. The successful applicant is expected to have a detailed and solid knowledge of eDiscovery, the litigation process, and the Rules of Civil Procedure as well as expertise in data forensics, preservation, and knowledge of the chain of custody rules. Additionally, the successful candidate will be expected to travel around 40% on a regular basis during the duration of the job. DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Oversee and implement the planning, execution, completion and follow-up of client engagements Carry out thorough technical analyses and construe computer related evidence on a variety of platforms Ensuring the collection of evidence is met efficiently and chain of custody processes are reached regularly to a high industry-standard Enhance forensic and eDiscovery engagements through providing advisory services Gain a wide understanding of client operations, processes and business objectives and use this information to discover additional opportunities for achieving a client’s objectives Assist and oversee the mentoring and training of new team members Maintain lab hardware and software resources to a high standard, ensuring compliance is met with industry standard Maintain a wide and current knowledge of eDiscovery data collection and forensic examination DESIRABLE SKILLS: Digital Forensics knowledge with at least 18 months industry experience Previous experience of delivering affidavits and providing court testimonies to defend the processes used in data preservation, collection, and forensics engagements Strong technical background in computing and data forensics Impeccable written and presentation skills Marketing and business development skills Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple engagements Wide knowledge of various emailing systems Solid understanding of networking environments and storage systems Appropriate industry certifications For more information on applying for this position, visit Apt Search or call 0845 689 6499.
