Hello, everyone. I am currently doing research regarding the state of IOS forensics. Specifically, I am curious as to whether there is a good possibility of a password-bypassing tool for Iphone 4S and Iphone 5 being developed in the future. Does it require a hardware exploit? Is this task generally looked upon as achievable by the people in the relevant industry? Or would it be difficult to make substantial progress unless Apple decides to share the IOS source code with the general public? I am, of course, aware that no absolute, definite answer could be given--I would be happy just to know what people's informed opinions, or guesses, are on the topic. Many thanks in advance.
