Bit of a thread resurrection here but I have a BlackBerry Playbook to analyse and am struggling for support with the usual commercial forensic tools.
I have analysed one previously using Aceso and desktop manager to identify data that the submitting party were interested in however that was in the very early days of the Playbook and I am hoping for more recent support.
In my previous analysis it was more of a viewer (as mentioned in this thread) for data present on the handset it was connected to however this one seems to have more data on it and there is no BlackBerry in the submission that matches pairings mentioned on the device in the other parts of this case.
I suppose this is directed at RonS for details on possible support with Cellebrite and to see if any of the rest of the community has any recent dealings with them.
Thanks.
The couple I've encountered running the newer OS still allow a backup however the three files within it are encrypted. There wasn't really much on but if you manually review the browser be sure to have a camera ready as the cached page will reload as soon as you open the tab so need to photograph quickly.
