Can you run the apps from an inserted MicroSD? In the US there is no such thing as "certified" tool per se. There are tools that certain courts accept (or reject), and there are some scientific and government entities that test tools and provide a certificate of such testing with the results. I am not aware of one that provides all in a single package for free. Commercial tools do provide solutions that implement your step actions, for a price... liguoroa wrote: Thank you very much for your reply and suggestions. Instead of installing the application BusyBox_Pro_11.apk, it would be advisable the creation of a folder on a "nodev" partition (e.g. /dev that contains a tmpfs filesystem). I could then copy into this directory the binary executable of the commands I needed to perform the physical acquisition of the device. This command would be dc3dd, sha256sum, md5sum, nc. So I would avoid the installation of a new app on the device. The application Framaroot-1.6.1.apk was installed to get root privilege. Does anybody know if there are "certified" methods or apps to get root privileges on various device models? A lot of documentations and links to downloadable apps to get root privilege is available on the site http://www.xda-developers.com/. Best Regards Andrea Liguoro
