This seems like the perfect forum to post my question. I'm looking for companies in Ireland were I can do an internship with graduation assignment.
Why Ireland? Because they have major companies and the people are nice It doesn't have to be Ireland perse. If someone knows a better country with lots of forensic companies inside Europe I would love to hear that.
I've studied computer forensics in the US for a half year (a minor) and I know it can be hard to find a security internship if you're not a US citizen.
I'm really interested in the following topics:
- Computer forensics
- Defensive/offensive network security
- Malware analysis (altough I'm not good at coding)
What I've found so far:
- PWC (forensic department is in Belfast)
- Espion (Dublin)
- Microsoft (Dublin)
- Apple?
- Google (they don't hire trainees for security jobs)
- KPMG (Dublin)
- Deloite
- Ernst & Young
- Shell?
I'm not sure if all companies that I've mentioned have forensic departments in Ireland.
Does anybody has some more ideas?
