Of course you cannot have a definite answer, however usually the kind of criminal record that may prevent you from being hired is usually connected with "moral turpitude":

Consider how the "digital forensic" courses have become popular in the last few years, and though most probably the request has grown, so has the number of qualified candidates exiting the UNI having followed a related course of study. <img src="images/smiles/icon_confused.gif" alt="Confused" title="Confused" />
