Servoca Resourcing Solutions are currently seeking an experienced Senior Forensic Investigator for a permanent position with a financial institution based in the City.
The position will involve:
•Undertaking forensic investigations into information security incidents including malware detections, data loss scenarios, misuse of systems
•To report findings to the Security teams and provide both verbal and written briefings
•Use of a wide range of forensic investigations tools and applications, and will necessitate an aptitude for conducting detailed and accurate forensic analysis independently, while also working in a team to fulfil overarching objectives
•Applying intelligence to the forensic investigations process and developing processes for identifying and investigating incidents as early as possible in the incident life cycle
Essential experience:
•Experience and expertise working as a digital forensics analyst
•Experience analysing network traffic, including full packet capture and log data
•Computer science degree, or similar technical qualification and experience
•Proven experience as a threat intelligence analyst or investigator in a law enforcement, intelligence or business environment, with a significant amount of time spent investigating cyber threats
•Excellent proven investigative and analytical skills
Desirable:
•Experience utilising network forensics tools
•Experience undertaking live memory forensics; malware forensics; e-discovery
•Knowledge of enterprise infrastructure and servers
•Knowledge of firewall and network devices
•Intermediate level forensics certifications, such as “Encase Examiner
•Experience of providing information security incident response
•Information Security certification, such as CISSP, CISM
Salary: £50,000 per annum
