e-Discovery Associate £38-48K +£2.5K bonus + outstanding benefits, London
This is not for a fresh graduate (we do have graduate roles) but this role requires 2-5 years’ experience.
We have a permanent vacancy for an Associate within the eDiscovery of our client. It’s an operational role, dealing with day to day issues and managing a daily task list. During the daily operation of the team you will need to organise and plan your own work accordingly and deal with unexpected urgent requests in a professional and timely manner.
Main Tasks
• Technical management of our IT management system (training provided) processing and administration workflow
• Input into the development and refinement of eDiscovery procedures
• Liaison with case teams regarding eDiscovery processing and review
• Introspect eDiscovery system management, troubleshooting, monitoring and reporting
• Using scripting knowledge to manage structured data
This Associate position will have technical and organisational responsibilities for the work on the eDiscovery Evidence Management System - Full training will be provided where necessary.
Minimum Skills
• Technical expertise in eDiscovery
• Good communication skills
Essential Skills
• Good working knowledge of SQL, Perl, Python, JavaScript or similar languages useful for the manipulation of data
• Good working knowledge of processing and ingesting material into an eDiscovery system including generation of hash values, structured loading, content engine management and reporting
• Understanding of ACPO Good Practice Guide for Digital Evidence
• Ability to prioritise work
• Ability to logically troubleshoot a problem and work under pressure
Desirable Skills
• Good Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Confident in training/mentoring other people
• Experience with other eDiscovery platforms (Relativity, Concordance, Clearwell etc.)
• Experience working with Concordance structured data
• Load files (DAT, OPT, etc.)
