Title - Head of eDiscovery Project Management Team
Location – London
Salary – Fully negotiable (Circa £80,000 +or-)
Overview:
To be the leader and manager of our clients team of eDiscovery project managers. The role will ensure the team performs to the highest standards of customer service, efficiency and contributes to achieving our clients goal of being the leading provider of eDiscovery services.
Team Development and Training:
•Training new starter PMs
•Providing on-going training to developing PMs.
•Constantly evaluating training opportunities and development opportunities for entire team.
•Ensuring any training or plans will tie in with the business need, be commercially viable and always go to ensuring the team goal.
Project Consulting:
The Head of Project Management will take ownership of the quality, accuracy and timeliness of all work product produced by eDiscovery Project Managers, including both client and administrative work. The Head of eDiscovery project management should have the skills and training to be able to manage projects as a project manager, as well as the skills and knowledge to act as a Consultant. This will ensure that the Head of Project Management can:
•Step in and assist with project management in times where this will aide resources (ie peak periods or at the end of the day to help the team go home), or where there is a resourcing shortfall or during leave or absence as appropriate.
•Analyse the work of individuals in order to performance manage and directly contribute to the team’s growth, learning and development.
Client Satisfaction:
The Head of Project Management will be responsible for ensuring the team is performing to the highest standards so as to ensure total client satisfaction. The PMs emails, telephone manner and timeliness should be periodically reviewed and feedback given where it is required.
Qualities needed:
Essential:
•Project Management & eDiscovery skills must be of a level to advise others, to make decisions with consideration to best practice, risk and service whilst maintaining ownership of decisions.
•Management of a team.
•Must have worked in an eDiscovery project management role for a minimum of 3 years.
•Must have demonstrated excellence in service delivery within the last 12 months though any of outstanding customer service, using creative solutions to solve a problem or gain repeat business from a client, or specialism in predictive coding or similar non-standard eDiscovery aspect.
Preferred:
•Law firm experience in a dispute or litigation environment advantageous, but not essential
•Education relating to either IT, law or business (or sufficient relevant experience).
