Yeah we do have the device and there aren't any original photos on the device itself.
EXIF details are stripped off for higher uploading speeds or protecting privacy, what do you think?
All i know is that its making our lives harder =P!!
They were most likely removed for faster uploading and sending speeds instead of protection. Is it possible they have been uploaded to the phone users facebook they may have done so or cloud such as drop box?
They could be stored there with the original EXIF data.
